  1. So they needed that much fire power… of course someone going to get hit..taser… WTH

  2. There are just nothing but victims in this incident. The little girl, the victims of the suspect, the officers, and the gunman himself. That was mental illness on two legs. Look at his interaction with the plexiglass by the escalator. His victimized are traumatized, the cops are traumatized by having their hero moment result in the death of a little girl, the little girl's family is DEVASTATED, and unpopular as it might be to say it, the perpetrator's family is also likely traumatized by having to watch him get murdered on TV and know that his actions resulted in the death of a young girl and what is likely to be lifelong trauma for everyone he made contact with that day. How do the women he attacked every feel safe going in public ever again? With all of these circumstances, the perpetrator's family cannot even grieve openly. Lastly, my heart goes out to those cops who executed this situation so well, only to be gutted shortly there after knowing one of their stray bullets killed the girl. It sucks all around for everyone. My condolences to all.

  3. They didn’t need to shoot at all they should of tried non lethal attempts first I don’t think the guy had a gun on him

  4. He didn't have a gun, so he wasn't a threat to anybody outside his immediate vicinity. Would a tasers, batons and pepper spray by a team of officers be sufficient in a situation like this? Was there a clear view downrange of the intended line of fire as to the possible presence of bystanders? Will the LAPD review the tactical decisions made and issue a public report?

  5. Very sad. Seth Rogan says that this is "all just part of living in a big city, deal with it"

  6. Police always wanna get their guns off no where in that video did the lady say the suspect had a gun im pretty sure if he did have a gun she would of made that known. This is about police wanting to shoot first ask questions later if they would of been more responsible that little girl would still be alive. I mean what happen to using tazers..

  7. So I guess those cops didn't take into consideration that there was a dressing room behind the suspect, huh?

  8. The cops shot a girl in the changing room? He had a open shot on a target that was unarmed and not even running. Goddamn trigger fingers

  9. That's what happens when you use guns. If they would have tasered dude would have went down once. Idiots don't know how to use gun, they only know how to shoot. Even a ten year old know how to shoot a gun. They should of just gave the gun to a kid and let him go in there shooting.

  10. Agree or Disagree…

Fact…cops are afraid of being injured or killed by criminals because they are human.

    Generally speaking of course;
Problem… The most capable men and women don't want to be cops and who can blame them?

Solution…make being an officer a very well paid and universally well respected job and you will get better candidates looking to become cops.

    PS…Same solution for teachers.

  11. What about your officer who was gun happy and wanted to shoot his AR at the suspect so bad that he killed an innocent life? The suspect was not even armed. Cop just wanted to shoot his gun since they dont like shooting at still targets for fun they want to shoot at a live suspect.

  12. Why did the cop shoot he has to expect those bullets to continue to travel bad decisions someone has to be held accountable period!!

  13. So the round went thru the bad guy and killed the bystander….223 would almost guarantee over penetration

  14. This is SAD!
The officer with the riffle needed a partner very close behind. A "two man front" of sorts which would have allowed one with a HANDGUN. ALL of the other officers seemed to have riffles as well.
Had they had an available PISTOL__this may not have happened.

  15. My heart goes out to that girl and her mother thru this tragic situation. I'll also like to point out that the officers could have shot him in the legs than to go for the kill shot. They are trained to shot the legs to disable the suspect bfo using deadly force, all the suspect had was a lock in his had. Why go for the kill shot, why not look to see if others or area was cleared bfo using deadly force on him. They are told to shot legs out, but that officer was so trigger happy to kill him, he couldn't think to just disable him first. I understand if the suspect wasn't doing a crime then that girl will still be alive but if they officer took some of his training and used it in that situation the outcome would have been different for that young girl

  16. Imagine taking your daughter Christmas shopping and she gets shot in a dressing room by a cop put yourself in the mothers shoes yeah exactly you not letting this shit ride that cop should get life
